The week of recess resistance continues as we try to stop Trumpcare dead in its tracks. Mitch McConnell has said publically that he does not have 50 votes on Trumpcare- let’s call and keep it that way. And the work does not end with just stopping this horrible healthcare bill.
Even without Trumpcare, Trump is already making health care more expensive. The chief executive of Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina has said his company is raising rates because of the uncertainty that Donald Trump has introduced into the insurance markets. We need our representatives not only to reject Trumpcare, but make moves to protect and faithfully implement the existing Obamacare legislation.
Call Bob Latta and Rob Portman, and demand that they protect our health insurance. Tell them to reject Trumpcare, and take steps to stabilize the health care markets.
