It is now DEFCON 1 for healthcare. Mitch McConnell is going to try to push healthcare through…and will likely succeed unless we stop him. And why is he is trying to push it through? Part of the reason is that we have not been calling like we should. Senators are reporting phone calls are slowing down to pre-Trump levels. This is unacceptable. We need to barrage our senators with calls. But even more so, we need to be smart. The staffer in charge of health care at Portman’s Washington D.C. office is named Sarah Schmidt. Call Portman’s office and ask for her by name.
