Daily Action for Monday, July 10th: Stop Russia, and Stop Trumpcare

Monday, July 10^th:

Donald Trump just gave Putin everything he wanted. Trump did not punish Russia for meddling in our election during his meeting with Putin. He, in effect, declared that he will let bygones be bygones. And Trump did not bring up Russia’s horrendous record with freedom of the press. Trump instead was caught joking about the media with the man who routinely murders journalists.

But Trump is not alone in betraying the United States’s interests to Russia. Republicans like Bob Latta are also complicit. The Senate passed a bill that would make it harder for the Trump administration to lift the Russian sanctions without congressional approval. Representatives like Bob Latta are trying to water down the bill, and let Trump give Putin everything he wants.

Call Bob Latta and tell him not to let Putin get away with interfering in our election. Demand that he and the other Republicans not water down the Senate bill. Tell him the Trump administration cannot be trusted with Russia, and that congressional approval should be needed for lifting the Russian sanctions.

Are you getting sick of calling about health care? I am too. But we need to keep at it. Rumor has it that The White House, Mike Pence, and Ted Cruz will be launching one last-ditch, all-out assault to ram Trumpcare through . We must stop that from happening.

Call Rob Portman, and tell him to reject any version of Trumpcare that guts Medicaid and the Medicaid expansion, essential health benefits, and protections for pre-existing conditions. Tell him how much Obamacare benefits you.
