Daily Action for Wednesday, July 12th: Delay and Repeal?

Wednesday, July 12^th:

We had a partial victory today. Mitch McConnell is delaying the August recess by two weeks in order that the Senate can deliberate on healthcare. Like everyone, senators love vacations, and cutting the August recess tells us how desperate he is. But this announcement also shows that Trumpcare is very much alive. We need to keep up the pressure on Portman. Ted Cruz is trying to make the bill even worse by cutting protections for pre-existing conditions. We need to tell Portman that any replacement for Obamacare must protect pre-existing conditions, as well as Medicaid.

Call Rob Portman and tell him to protect Ohioans. Don’t let him cut pre-existing conditions.
