Call Rob Portman. Demand that he does not vote for any measure that defunds Medicaid, whether a repeal-and-replace or a straight-up repeal.
Donald Trump has made his intentions crystal-clear over the weekend. He desperately wants to get rid of the special counsel and the independent investigation into his campaign’s ties with Russia. It is time to start asking our congressional representatives what they will do if Trump does the unthinkable. Will they support the rule of law and the Constitution, or will they put party before country?
Call Bob Latta, and ask him what he will do if Trump fires Bob Mueller. Ask him to commit to renewing the special prosecutor legislation in Congress, and appointing Bob Mueller the head of this investigation.
