Update on the total mess known as the repeal of Obamacare: the straight-up repeal has been rejected by the Republicans (and by Rob Portman- maybe he has finally found his spine)? Republicans are now trying to pass what they call a “skinny repeal,” which basically consists of any amendment that the Republicans can find 50 votes for. This skinny repeal would increase premiums by 20% just next year. In addition, 5 Republican governors, including our very own John Kasich, have come out against this repeal plan. Time to call Portman, and make it clear that the “skinny repeal” is bad for Ohio.
Call Rob Portman, and urge him to vote “NO” on the “skinny repeal.”
Please only call Rob Portman if you live in Ohio.
