It is time for our representatives to take a firm stance against Donald Trump’s championing of hate. Democrats in Congress have introduced a measure to censure Trump. Bob Latta and Rob Portman cannot just condemn the white supremacy on display in Charlottesville; they must also condemn the man in the White House who is encouraging it, Donald Trump.
Call Rob Portman and Bob Latta and tell them to support legislation that censures Donald Trump by name.
The state Senate this week is voting on whether to override Kasich’s veto of a Medicaid freeze. As the name suggests, the Medicaid freeze would not allow new people to enroll in Medicaid in 2018. This would be disastrous for low-income families and for people suffering from opioid addiction. Although the House does not have currently have the votes to repeal it, let’s make sure the Medicaid freeze is completely dead and buried.
Call your local state senator and tell them to protect Medicaid in Ohio.
