Republicans are planning to use Dreamers and DACA recipients as political pawns in their game. DACA recipients are immigrants who came to this country at an early age, and willingly came out of the shadows to be granted protection by President Obama. Now Trump is threatening to renege on America’s promise to these brave individuals in order to force Congress to fund his racist and xenophobic border wall. We must call not only our Republican representatives, but also Sherrod Brown, and tell them under no circumstances should they fund a border wall or remove DACA protections. Don’t let Trump play political football with people’s lives.
